On June 3, 2005 we tied the knot and moved into our first house in South Carolina. Since then have moved 2 more times and are now in Memphis, TN. But Ohio is where we both call home. Dave grew up in Mount Vernon and my parents live in Cincinnati.

We’re college sweethearts from our time at Ohio Northern University and now we both work for a packaging company. Dave has made a switch from his finance background to manufacturing, thus the move to Memphis, and I’m sales for them. Between his shift work and my travel, our time together is extra special so we cherish our weekends!

Our small family consists of us and our two furbabies. Tank is our yorkshire terrier and Buckeye is our boston terrier. Dave teases me that I treat them like kids and I supposed they are a bit spoiled, but they’re sweet little monsters and are good company when the house is empty.

Other than that, well I’m far from perfect, I’m a spastic house keeper but I love my hubby, puppies and enjoy the little things in life. As you may know from other sites I’ve tried to start up, I like to start projects like this but I’ve never been a big journal person so keeping it up is always a challenge. As for Dave, he loves to golf and hunt and likes shopping almost as much as I do (but don’t tell him I told you that). We like to travel and explore new places together. Who knows maybe we’ll be near you next. Follow along with our simple lives here. Whether you know us or not I can’t guarantee I’ll be very entertaining, but we’ll share all we can and hopefully I’ll keep up this time around.
