Tuesday of the Tennis Tournament was Ladies Day.  They had a yummy brunch, and a Macy’s fall fashion show (that made me want to go shopping).  It also gave me a chance to spend more time with 2 of my favorite people…

Remind me why I live in Memphis?  Something about a job and weather right?…I do love the weather…after last week I could handle a little snow and cloudy days to be closer to these 2 special people.

Mom had some of her other girlfriends there so it was wonderful for Jennifer and I to have sometime together without hubbies (although I would have loved to see Kyle) or babies and enjoy each other’s company on one  of our rare visits.  Later in the week I was able to go to Jennifer’s house to spend time with her precious girls.  My mom fussed at me for not taking pictures of them but I was too busy playing and why bother when she’s sharing their cuteness with the world at least weekly on her blog?  She absolutely has to get a video to share though.  You ask these 14 month old toddlers if they’re cute and they nod their heads so hard that I wondered if they were going to flop off. 

Lord help him, I know that Dave could audibly hear my clock ticking when I got home from spending time with them.  He promptly went for a run to prepare himself for the evening of listening to me gush.  Next time I’ll make sure he gets his Avery & Elise fix and he’ll know where I’m coming from.

What happens what I give my husband a Washington Apple to get him to dance with me then request him to take a nice picture of me with my mom.

We spent 10 whole days in Cincinnati with my family last week. Can you believe it?! 10 days!! It was wonderful. We surprised my dad by coming in on Friday in time for their Dessert & Dancing Party.

The club always has the best dessert.  I tried to steal Chef Jeffery but he wasn’t interested in moving to Memphis.  Something about a room being named after him and a being scared of what my mom would do.

Everyone danced the night away to the band Permanent Tourists from Hilton Head, SC and all of the ladies enjoyed our Firefly.

I even managed to get our boys out on the dance floor (with a little help from our favorite bar tender).  ;-)

I flaunted my super skinny hubby to people we haven’t seen since our wedding and we had a great time.  I’m sure we went to bed sometime before dawn…the last time check I remember was at 3am when we were making sandwiches at home.  Mom & Dad sure know how to throw a party!

Once Upon a Blog is having a design giveaway for their grand re-opening!  You’re probably familiar with may blogs she has designed.  I’m considering her for mine you should too!

Last weekend we celebrated our neighbor Brian’s 29th birthday. (You can thank me for this picture later.)

All the lovely neighborhood ladies came out to help celebrate.

The guys came too.  Dave matched the cupcakes.

There was the mandatory cornhole tournament that, after the rediculous amounts of rain earlier that week, left us with muddy feet and the boys walking around wearing make-shift Capri’s.

Apparently this blog has brought out my need to take pictures of muddy feet.

As always we had a ton of fun.
